Ending by A. Klesath

And in the end you saw me

Naked and alone,

Tears streaming down my face

Filling the void.

My insides spilled out-

across miles and miles of hard travel.

And in the end you said to me

Take my hand,

I will carry you

Across this chasm

fording the beginning to the end.

My heart was lifted

Tired from the long ache

And in the end I saw the light

Naked and not alone

Hard lines across my face

Creating shadows

My spirit rose.
