We walk on the path set forth,
Sometimes not knowing our worth.
Shadows cast images, blinding sight,
Consuming our hearts with fright.
Willing our body, to continue to move,
We trip upon the groove.
Forcing us to wait,
In a confused state.
Cast into the long night,
battling forces without sight.
We bleed on bent knee,
wind sweeps past, blinding thee.
As the rain falls,
No one there to heed our call,
Til we open our hearts; mind, body and soul,
Our eyes finally see; the loophole.
Open our arms and let go,
envisioning the way for us to grow.
Allowing us to dissipate
And coordinate to find our fate.
