Wake from the Dream by A. Klesath

She stood, her toes digging into the earth finding balance,

holding on,

Mind spinning

eyes wide open to see the world with blinders removed.

The path set forth

she spread her arms, wings ready, she leaped allowing the wind to

envelope her spirit, protecting her.

She looked down on the earth and could see the absurdities, the lines, the division that separate.

The blinders and bondage that holds one to darkness,

imagined division, disallowing feet to touch earth.

She knew she could not escape nor separate her self from this any more than a tree could rise up and walk away.

The wind pulling her to allow her to wake from the dream-

This new day dawning, rising to separate light from dark,

let the day begin, awake from the dream.
